Villard Fine Wines
Casablanca Valley, Chile
One of Casablanca’s first wineries, Villard was founded in 1989 by Frenchman Thierry Villard and is now run by his son, Jean-Charles – both bringing extensive international experience to this boutique estate. Father and son personally lead tours of the winery and cellars, and you can even book in for ‘Lunch with the Villards,’ kicking off in their premier Tanagra plot (producing tiny quantities of single vineyard Syrah from bush vines, only in exceptional years) before seeing where the wine is made and sitting down to a three-course lunch together. Or else, simply enjoy cheese and charcuterie at the Wine Bar whilst taking in the expansive valley views.
