Canaan Winery

The story of how Canaan Winery was built reads as if it springs from an ancient epic. A team of international experts travelled 17,000km across 11 provinces in China and analysed over 400 soil samples before the site for the winery was finally chosen, in Huailai County, Hebei province just 80km from bustling Beijing. The first vines were only planted in 2008 and the winery wasn’t finished until 2012. Yet, within a decade, the enthusiastic and driven team have created a range of delicious premium wines that delight connoisseurs and amateurs alike.
