The wines of Burgundy are considered some of the finest in the world, supreme examples of elegant Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Family-run estate Maison Joseph Drouhin makes wines from almost 90 of the region’s many appellations, combining a respect for nature and terroir with a passion for winemaking. Since 1888, the estate has dedicated itself to bringing the diversity of Burgundy to the world. The cellars in the centre of Beaune once belonged to the mighty Dukes of Burgundy and are open to visitors. Special events such as workshops, lunches and themed tours are also held throughout the year.
