Tokaj Oremus Pincészet

In 1993, after the fall of Communism in Hungary, the Alvarez family saw an opportunity to found a winery in one of the world's greatest vineyard regions – Tokaj. The vines they purchased included a plot in the renowned Oremus vineyard, from which the sweet Aszú wines were first created in the 17th century. Today the winery continues these age-old traditions with respect for its heritage and the environment. In addition to the classic sweet wines, the winery produces a selection of dry wines made from the Furmint and Hárslevelü grapes.
