Ferngrove Wines
Western Australia, Australia
Located in the Frankland River region of the Great Southern, Ferngrove Wines has established itself as one of the prominent producers in the Great Southern. Founded in 1998 by Murray Burton, Merve Lange and Ted Avery, the valleys and slopes of the Frankland River region were untouched but brimming with potential. It was the perfect place to cultivate vines, where ancient soils met the cooling effects of the Southern and Indian Oceans.
Ferngrove’s modern winery and cellar door features wide verandas, extensive use of local timber and a lookout tower with sweeping views of the Great Southern region. The tasting experiences offered at the the Cellar Door can be paired with with culinary options of charcuterie boards and pizza or you can even use their BBQ facilities.
