Viu Manent
Colchagua Valley, Chile
- #19 World's Best Vineyards 2024
An antique horse drawn carriage is the most magical way of seeing Viu Manent’s extensive Colchagua Valley vineyards, some of its finest plots planted back in the nineteenth century. Award-winning leaders in sustainability, other tours employ e-bikes and hiking routes whilst, back at The Equestrian Club, there are also riding and jumping lessons, and equine therapy sessions. Gastronomes will enjoy workshops at celebrity chef Pilar Rodríguez’s Food and Wine Studio, or simply sitting back on the terrace of the Rayuela grill restaurant, on the vines’ edge, pairing spirited cuisine with wines focused on Chile’s signature grape varieties – a specialty of this quintessentially Chilean estate, founded in 1935.
