Bodegas Vivanco
Rioja, Spain
- #31 World's Best Vineyards 2024
Vinous culture is celebrated in every from at Bodegas Vivanco, established in 1915 and home to a Museum of Wine Culture that encompasses 4,000 square metres of permanent exhibition space; local children and oenotourists alike are encouraged to learn the craft of winemaking here in the medieval town of Briones, after experiencing the Garden of Bacchus, home to 220 grape varieties (international and indigenous). Also within the futuristic winery, built in 1990, is a Gastrobar serving wines paired with tapas-style dishes and a restaurant catering for all occasions. The family is keen to share all they have learned, so ask lots of questions.
