Slate-sheathed spires of the magnificent Beringer Rhine House speak eloquently of its German heritage. Now listed on America’s ‘National Register of Historic Places’ the castle is worth a visit in its own right. Numerous tastings are available seven days a week and guests can hire the back ‘yard’ with exclusive access to its bocce ball court, or book a tour of the gorgeous 150-year-old gardens. You can even get married here. And if you want to take home a momento, there are Beringer aprons, oven gloves, playing cards and even Napa Valley Monopoly available for purchase at the Estate, or of course, on-line.
