Founded in 2003 by four siblings returning to their roots, Casa Agostino is the home of elegant wines made within state-of-the-art facilities, but it is also an actual home of equal refinement. The main house features high-end suites each with their own garden, a base from which to explore the further estate including decorative and vegetable gardens, swimming pool, art gallery and, of course, vineyards, which can be traversed on foot, bike or horse. The slick restaurant (open for lunch) features local produce given an Italian slant to honour the family’s heritage, and overnight guests can dine outside, taking in the theatre of the chefs cooking on open fire, right in front of them – with the option to join in, if brave enough.
