Bodega Santa Julia

Mendoza, Argentina

Created by Argentinian wine icon José Alberto Zuccardi in honour of his daughter Julia, the Santa Julia wines are recognised across the globe and come from vineyards across Maipú, the Uco Valley and Santa Rosa, many certified organic. Take a picnic basket out into the gardens and feast on homemade bread, pickled vegetables, cheese, cured meats and homegrown peaches and cream with a bottle of the Reserve Malbec (a special menu is available for children). Or travel in style with a vintage car tour through the vineyards, tasting as you go. There are also hot air balloon rides, bike rides, traditionally-inspired cooking classes, a harvest experience, an art collection and cocktail master classes incorporating the brand’s fortified sweet red wine, Malamado, to try. Equally, you could just sit back in the restaurant, delighting in the regional menu paired with a selection of the wines.
