The Piattelli winery was adopted by a Minnesotan couple who fell in love with it on holiday and you will too when you visit. The airy bodega is open for tours, tastings and a spot of lunch at the restaurant, the food bringing the estate’s top-rating wines to life. From vineyard sites in Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley, the certified organic Mendoza winery champions Argentina’s premier grape, Malbec with a series of limited-release single varietal wines, plus the revered ‘Trinità’ blend with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and a vibrant rosé blend with Torrontés. Both the farming and production are overseen by fourth generation winemaker Valeria Antolin, a true star on the rise.
