Rioja Vega was founded on a dream. Inspired by the winemakers from Bordeaux who came to Rioja in the 19th century, Felipe Ugalde wanted to create a winery that combined the terroir of his region with French techniques. Over 140 years later, Rioja Vega continues this vision. The stunning winery, located close to Logroño, sits among 70 hectares of vines – the epitome of the classic ‘château concept’. The estate caters to visitors with tastings and tapas, while large groups can book for lunch in the cellar.
