Bodega Pulenta Estate
Mendoza, Argentina
Guests of Bodega Pulenta don’t just get to taste its premium range of wines but, down in the vat room, they’ll spot antique Porsche and Ferrari engines to boot. Motoring is a decided passion of the Pulenta family, who first moved to Argentina from Italy in 1902, planting their first vines in 1912. The fourth generation is now in charge, establishing the Pulenta Estate in 2002, and tours take you through their esteemed winemaking history as well as the winery itself. These must be pre-booked and in warmer months offer the chance to sample the range of wines out in the garden along with cheese, cured meats and the estate’s own olive oil.
