Terrazas de los Andes
Mendoza, Argentina
If the Food and Wine Experience pairing Mendoza’s finest ingredients and techniques with the painstakingly terroirs-driven Terraza de los Andes wines whets your appetite, then the chef can also provide cookery classes to get you fully engrossed in the sumptuous Argentine gastronomy that pervades this small but prestigious estate. Founded in 1996 by a French winemaker who transferred his knowledge of the Loire to the similarly cool climes of the Andean foothills, the wines are made in a Spanish-style winery built in 1898, which boasts a refined restaurant and welcoming guest house with six rooms each themed to a grape variety grown on the sustainably-focused grounds.
