They’re in the business of making dreams come true at The Vines of Mendoza: over 100 hectares of land were bought in 2005 with the express purpose of helping people become winemakers by guiding them through the process of production, from growing the grapes all the way through to designing the bottles the final wine will go in. The estate is also home to a deluxe resort incorporating a world-leading hotel, spa and a restaurant operated by celebrity chef, Francis Mallmann – known for his love of raw flames, Siete Fuegos is a Mallmann masterpiece (with cookery classes available). Hands-on tastings get you comparing the differences between barrel- and tank-fermented wines, and blending your own, whilst out in the grounds you’ve got fly-fishing, horse riding, yoga classes and sunrise mountain hikes to entertain.
