A range of white, red and sparkling wines from Rioja
The View from RiojaLocated in the Cantabrian foothills in the Briones enclave of Rioja Alta, Bodega Vivanco is a stunning estate that offers unparalleled views of the Cantabrian mountains and Sonsierra. It has become one of the most popular oenotourist destinations in Spain, thanks to its modern Rioja blancos and tintos made by fourth-generation winemaker Rafa Vivanco.
The winesReds, whites, rosés and sparkling; all are made in a modern, fresh style. However, Vivanco ‘Colección’ single-varietal range aims to showcase native minority grapes varieties that are traditionally blended in Rioja. Garnacha shows restraint, concentration and minerality, whilst Graciano is a wine that needs time to develop in bottle; Mazuelo has a rugged earthiness and bags of character. And Maturana Tinta is a grape which could have a great future ahead due to its ability to provide freshness and vitality even in the hottest years.
