Kaiken
Mendoza, Argentina
Eating at Kaiken is an experience in itself, with the estate restaurant Ramos Generales now overseen by Argentinian celebrity chef – and king of open flame cooking – Francis Mallmann. Founded in 2001, the winery dates back to 1927 but has been designed for the modern era according to feng shui principles, and the vegan wines are produced with sustainability in mind. All tours incorporate the vineyards, winery and cellars, with an array of optional tasting add-ons exhibiting the range of wines, including a special Malbec experience featuring the fruits of vines over 100 years in age, blending master classes, and a blind tasting guessing game to spark your competitive side.
